PDC Gaskets is a division of the PDC group of companies which focuses on manufacturing extrusion for the local window and door industries. In 2007 the company purchased it’s first extruder and now is one of the largest gasket manufacturers in the country.

More than 50 different gasket profiles are extruded from a simple Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) wedge to complex co-extruded bubble seals for the glazing of aluminium windows and doors. Both the PVC and the Santoprene are only extruded in black. Santoprene is a Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) /Thermoplastic Vulcanizate (TPV) product that has better properties (shrinkage, high temperature resistance, lead free) than the cheaper PVC range and is used in higher end applications eg. high rise buildings. Our Nitrile rich gaskets have additional shrinkage resistance when compared to the standard PVC gaskets.

Our extruders have the capacity to extrude over 4 million metres of gasket a month.

Our stockholdings are based on customers’ requirements and also take into account any cyclical off-take. We deliver to Gauteng within 2 days and the Cape within 5 days of shipping, thereby alleviating the need for our customers to carry large stocks.

Should any stockist feel that an installer or fabricator need assistance, we are available to troubleshoot the issue. We provide product training and support to our customers as well as any technical drawings of products that may prove useful at the installation phase.
