We make use of QR code technology in our finished goods despatch department. The benefits of including a QR Code on our packaging include:
- our finished goods despatch department will verify the stock pulled using the QR scanner and this will automatically perform a computerised check back to the customer order, reducing the likelihood of the incorrect stock being supplied.
- our being able to track individual pallets and cartons, so in the event of stock being lost or damaged in transit, we will be able to identify what replacement stock needs to be sent. This means we are able to respond faster and inform customers sooner, should there be a problem with their stock whilst it is in transit
- customers can use a smartphone to scan the QR code and so check the stock on arrival and let us know if they pick up any discrepancies to their order for us to address.
To access the product information that we have captured in our QR code, you will need to have a QR code reader app loaded onto your smartphone. If you don’t have one loaded, you can visit the App Store to download a QR code reader. If you have any queries, you are welcome to contact our sales team. Once the QR Reader is installed on the phone, you will be able to scan the QR code.
